Hi Annie,

I tried to find your contact email, but couldn't. You're listed as a local Astoria blogger and I thought I'd hit you up for some community news (I'm not a spammer, I'm Astoria local too and blog at Just Braise).

I'm helping to start up a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program in central Astoria: Astoria CSA (www.astoriacsa.com).

I thought this might be something your readers are interested in?

CSAs hook up with a local farmer and bring fresh, local, organic produce to a neighborhood drop spot once a week, during the growing season. Our drop site during the season is Cafe Bar. There is more information on our website: www.astoriacsa.com and I recently wrote a piece in the Queens Chronicle about CSAs:

http://www.zwire.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=18085149&BRD=2731&PAG=461&dept_id=574903&rfi=6%22,,0,0

We have two upcoming events as we seek membership:

Movie night at Hellgate Social on Wednesday March 21 @ 7 PM viewing "The Future of Food"
Membership Drive/ Q&A with our farmers, Tuesday March 27, 7-8:30 PM at Cafe Bar.

Anything would be great and if you want more info please shoot me an email. Thanks!

Stacey
